In an original fitted Bolex camera case (for the H16 - Rex-5) - (without a key) with some wear and use marks to the exterior and interior, a Bolex H8 Rex-4 Reflex Camera with the serial number 2132573 (dating the camera to 1964) being shown on the flat tripod base. The film sprockets are single tooth. There is a viewfinder on the side with a telescopic adjuster and an eyepeice; below is has a slide up and out f=55mm prism. Lens turret rotates. the film compartment door has a tight fit. The case contains a accessory viewfinder box, 6 filter discs oin plastic sleeves - most look like they need a clean - three are marked ASA Series 5 A/D x2. There are also two lens mount caps and two rear lens caps. There is a rolled up plastic bg marked "Screw off RX fader" - so presumably this needs to go back on and a small winding crank.
The three lenses fitted by C mounts to the lens turret are all with front lens caps, hoods and three more filters (which need a clean) and small rod handles to assist focusing etc. The lenses are Switar f1.6 5.5mm H8RX- a Wide angle lens, specifically designed for the H-8 REX camera. It featured a pre-set diaphragm, Visifocus depth of field scale and minimum focusing distance of 4 1/2 inches. Series V filters could be attached. The aperture and focus are smooth. Into loght there is internal edge separation which leaves a clear "rectangular" shape in the centre. Definitely could do with a clean. The second lens is a Marco Switar f1.4 36mm H8RX - a telephoto lens for the H-8 REX; pre-set diaphragm with Visifocus DOF scale and built in macro extension. Focus from 10 1/2" to infinity. Uses Series V filters; detachable lens hood. The aperture and focus are smooth. Lenses clean and with minimal haze and possibly a couple of fungus web lines/dust. The thirds lens is a Macro Switar f1.3 12.5mm H8RX lens - a Standard focal length lens for the H-8 REX; pre-set diaphragm with Visifocus DOF scale and built in macro extension. Focus from 3" to infinity. Uses Series V filters; detachable lens hood. Focus an aperture smooth. Lenses in clean and may have minor haze only.
